The couple faced a tight timeline since they couldn't arrange for an elective induction before Summer reached her 39th week of pregnancy. Despite her hopes of having Jon by her side for at least 24 hours after delivery, medical regulations prevented the induction from happening before that critical week unless there was a valid medical reason. Fortunately, Sienna seemed eager to meet her father before he set out on his shows.

By 11 PM, her contractions were lasting about a minute and occurring every five minutes. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, Summer was dilated to five or six centimeters by 4 AM. Remarkably, she delivered Sienna at 11:47 with just two pushes, a significant contrast to her first child, Presley, who required five pushes. Summer credits her quick recovery to her dedicated pelvic floor workouts.
