Yellowstone is nearing the end of shooting for the second half of Season 5, and Jen Landon is among the actors who are saying farewell to the show. On Tuesday, September 10, she took to social media to share her final moments on set, reflecting on her incredible journey in this beloved series. The emotional farewell comes as the show approaches its conclusion, leaving fans both excited and nostalgic.
In her post, Landon shared a blurry selfie, capturing her last day on the set of Yellowstone. Accompanying the photo, she expressed her feelings saying, “Mound of paper towels for all the feelings. It was an incredible ride,” and included hashtags like #yellowstone and #teeter. Her character, Teeter, known for her outspoken nature and signature cowboy attire, has been a fan favorite since her debut.
Landon, who is the daughter of the late actor Michael Landon, is not only a talented actress but also carries a legacy in the television industry. She made her acting debut in an episode of her father’s show, Highway to Heaven. As she prepares to step away from the Yellowstone set, fans are eagerly waiting to hear about her future projects.
As the filming wraps for Season 5, other cast members have also shared their farewells. Wendy Moniz, who portrayed Governor Lynelle Perry, expressed her sentimentality on social media, stating, "Series wrap for me on Yellowstone and been having alllll the feels; sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few." Similarly, Brecken Merrill, who played Tate, shared his joy over the long run of the show, emphasizing the bond formed among the cast.
Although it is uncertain if shooting for the entire season is complete, the new episodes are scheduled to premiere on November 10. Initially, there were rumors that Season 5 would conclude the series following Kevin Costner’s departure. However, recent reports suggest that Paramount has reconsidered, with talks of a possible Season 6 featuring original cast members Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly.
