Home Free are closing one chapter and introducing a new one with a technicolor music video for their most well-known cover, "Ring of Fire." This a cappella group, known for their harmonious sound, has captured the hearts of many fans since they first burst onto the scene. Their latest release, shared exclusively with Taste of Country readers on February 16, marks a bittersweet moment for the band, reminding fans of their humble beginnings 11 years ago. Bass singer Tim Foust reflects on how their rendition of the Johnny Cash classic helped define their unique sound.

In Foust's words, "What began as a seemingly risky departure from the essence of an iconic country classic has become a demanded staple at our concerts." This sentiment encapsulates the journey of Home Free as they prepare to release their upcoming album, Crazy(er) Life, on March 29, featuring "Ring of Fire" as a central highlight. The album is particularly significant as it will be the last project featuring tenor Austin Brown, who is departing from the group but leaves behind fond memories and appreciation for his "brothers in song."

The rest of the band, consisting of Adam Chance, Rob Lundquist, and Adam Rupp, are committed to moving forward and plan to introduce a new member later in 2024.
