Tracee Ellis Ross, 49, was practically born to be a star. With her mother being Diana Ross, 77, and her father being record executive Robert Ellis Silberstein, 76, Tracee grew up around the glamorous world of show business. She has successfully carved out her own career path, rising to fame through her numerous acting appearances. Tracee became a household name as one of the leading actresses in the sitcom Girlfriends, and most recently, she has been a prominent star in Black-ish.

Rhonda Ross Kendrick

Tracee’s elder sister Rhonda Ross Kendrick, 50, was born from her mother’s relationship with Motown CEO Berry Gordy. Diana was pregnant with Rhonda when she married Robert, and she didn’t learn about her biological father until she was a teen. Similar to her sister, Rhonda has also made a name for herself as an actress. She starred in TV series like Another World and had a role in the 1998 biopic miniseries The Temptations.

After stepping away from acting, Rhonda released two albums and even toured with Diana. She released her debut album in 2004 and has continued to produce singles, with her most recent being 2020’s “Lay in Major 1.” Additionally, she has ventured into motivational speaking, inspiring many through her journey.

Chudney Ross

Tracee’s younger sister Chudney, 46, has mostly stayed out of the spotlight, but she has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. She worked as a producer on the show Mesmerized and served as a production manager for the series Fame in the early 2000s. Even though she may not work in TV anymore, Chudney’s creativity is evident in her projects.

She authored a children’s book titled Lone Bean in 2012 and is known as an avid reader and book lover. Chudney previously ran a family-oriented shop called Books and Cookies, combining her love for children’s literature and baked goods. Although the store has closed, she continues to host virtual and pop-up events celebrating reading and creativity.

Ross Næss

After Tracee’s parents divorced in 1977, Diana married businessman Arne Næss Jr. in 1985. Arne had children from his previous marriage and after their divorce, he had two sons with his girlfriend Camilla Astrup. Diana gave birth to Tracee’s younger brother Ross, 34, in October 1987. Ross has dabbled in the film industry, serving as the executive producer for the 2014 film Acid Girls.

As a child, he appeared alongside his mother in her music video for “When You Tell Me That You Love Me.” He is also an entrepreneur, co-founding various ventures including the nightclub experience Warwick LA and the music and food festival Untapped. Ross is a father to two boys, Lief and Indigo, and has a close relationship with Tracee, who attended his wedding as a bridesmaid.

Evan Ross

Diana welcomed her youngest son Evan, 33, in 1988. Following in the footsteps of his sister, Evan pursued a career in acting. He is best known for his role as Messalla in the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay films, but has also appeared in numerous other movies and TV shows throughout his career.

Evan has also made guest appearances on Girlfriends like his sister Rhonda, and he is still actively making a name for himself in the industry. Recently, he starred in the upcoming crime drama Black Water Transit and has projects lined up, including HeadShop and The Loneliest Boy in the World.

Evan has been married to Ashlee Simpson since 2014. Their bond is evident, and Tracee has forged a friendship with her sister-in-law. Together, Evan and Ashlee share two daughters, Jagger and Ziggy, and Evan is also a step-dad to Ashlee’s son Bronx from her previous relationship with Pete Wentz.
